Park City, UT

On the way to Park City.... there was a third dog, too, but he didn't care to meet us!

Coming into Park City....

The ski jumps in Olympic Park.

A look over the top of Park City....

The Egyptian Theater. It looked like a cool little place, so we suspect that it's a prime Sundance Film Festival spot.

Dave met a friend. Can you blame him for stopping when she looks that good in those jeans?
A snapshot of Park City from the bottom of Main Street....

Here's a nice "little" bungalow in the woods above Park City.... actually it's a massive condo complex, but it has beautiful scenery. Starting price? $600k.

Ski lifts taking hikers to the top of the mountain. We'll take the trek one day when we're wearing better shoes!

Married bliss! Thanks to the stranger who took / requested this picture.

Outside Salt Lake City...

Last weekend, we took a jaunt out to Ruth's Diner at the bottom of Emigration Canyon. The wait was atrocious, but the biscuits and homemade raspberry jam made up for it. These pictures are the views we took in after breakfast as we took the long way home. All of this is within 20 minutes of home!

These next pics are taken from the car on the way to Park City. They are a little hazy due to the window, but we think you'll get the idea (i.e. small cars, big big mountains).

Recent adventures...

We've arrived!

After an uneventful drive filled with many coffee stops, restroom breaks, the sale of a condo (!), a stop in Laramie, and a few tumbleweeds, we made it to Utah! The new home did not disappoint for those looking for a good calf workout. The harrowing experience of 96 steps to and from the truck (plus the heavy lifting and altitude) not only left us all feeling exhausted and winded, but it also convinced us that making new Utahan friends is essential for when we move out.
